1. Service Overview

City Star Appliances Repair LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides residential and commercial appliance repair and maintenance services. We aim to deliver timely, efficient, and professional repair solutions for all major appliance brands.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Refrigerator and freezer repairs
  • Washer and dryer repairs
  • Dishwasher and oven servicing
  • Cooktop, stove, and microwave repairs
  • Commercial appliance maintenance

We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue services without prior notice.

2. Scheduling and Appointments

2.1 Booking

Appointments can be scheduled via our website, phone, or email. When booking, you agree to provide accurate contact details and appliance information.

2.2 Appointment Window

We provide appointment windows (e.g., 9am–12pm), and our technicians strive to arrive within the scheduled timeframe. However, delays may occur due to traffic, prior job complexity, or unforeseen circumstances.

2.3 Cancellations & Rescheduling

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee.

3. Service Charges and Payments

3.1 Diagnostic Fee

A non-refundable diagnostic fee may be charged for each service visit, which may be applied toward the total repair cost if service is approved and completed.

3.2 Estimates

Upon diagnosing the issue, our technician will provide an estimated cost for parts and labor. The customer must approve the estimate before any work begins.

3.3 Payment Terms

Full payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other methods as specified by the technician or office. Delayed payments may incur late fees.

4. Warranty and Guarantees

4.1 Labor Warranty

We offer a 30-day warranty on labor from the date of service. If the same issue recurs within this period, we will re-service the appliance at no additional labor cost.

4.2 Parts Warranty

Parts installed by City Star Appliances Repair LLC carry a 90-day warranty unless otherwise stated. Warranty claims require proof of service and part installation.

4.3 Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

  • Issues caused by user misuse or negligence
  • New, unrelated appliance problems
  • Pre-existing issues not diagnosed during the initial service
  • Commercial misuse or improper installation not performed by us

5. Limitations of Liability

City Star Appliances Repair LLC shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss of food, business, or income due to appliance downtime
  • Pre-existing damage or structural issues
  • Repairs attempted by others post-service
  • Damage resulting from faulty manufacturing or recalled appliances

Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the original service.

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance
  • Ensure pets and children are away from the service area
  • Disclose any relevant appliance history or prior service attempts
  • Refrain from attempting DIY repairs while under warranty

7. Use of Our Website

7.1 Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and materials on our website are owned or licensed by City Star Appliances Repair LLC and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

7.2 User Conduct

You agree not to use our site for any unlawful purposes or to attempt to harm, hack, or disrupt our systems or communications.

8. Privacy Policy

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to any individual who:

  • Engages in abusive or threatening behavior
  • Fails to provide safe working conditions
  • Repeatedly cancels or reschedules without proper notice

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Virginia.
